Dubai's skyline is best understood from above. Four viewpoints cover different angles: Downtown from the tallest building in the world, the Palm from a coastal tower, the old and new city framed by the Dubai Frame, and a glass-floor walk on the Marina side.

At The Top on levels 124 and 125 of Burj Khalifa is the classic; the SKY level on 148 adds an outdoor terrace and lounge service. The View at The Palm looks straight down the Palm's fronds. Sky Views Observatory adds a glass slide and an edge walk. Dubai Frame is the cheapest and the most interesting historically, sitting between old and new Dubai by design.
