Water Parks experiences in the UAE

Water Parks

Record-holding slides, wave pools and lazy rivers

Waterparks are the UAE's answer to the heat, and the country holds several world records for slide height and speed. Every major park heats or chills its water seasonally, so they run year-round.

Water Parks (3)

Aquaventure on Palm Jumeirah is the largest by area, with record-height slides, a private beach and shark lagoons. Wild Wadi sits opposite Burj Al Arab and packs a lot into a compact footprint. Yas Waterworld is Emirati-themed with a pearl-diving storyline. Laguna at La Mer is the small, surf-focused option, and Jungle Bay brings a rainforest theme to the Palm.

Go on a weekday if you can, arrive at opening, and do the headline slide first — queues double after 11:00.

Frequently asked questions

Which Dubai waterpark is the biggest?
Aquaventure at Atlantis, by a wide margin, with more than a hundred slides and attractions plus a private beach.
Are waterparks open in winter?
Yes. Pools and slide flumes are heated between roughly November and March, so the water stays comfortable.
What should I bring?
Swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen and a card for lockers. Most parks are cashless and rent towels and lockers on site.
Is there an age or height limit?
Headline slides typically require 1.2 m or above. All the major parks have dedicated toddler zones with zero-depth entry.
