All experiences in Fujairah
Fujairah is the only emirate entirely on the Gulf of Oman, and the difference shows. The water is clearer and cooler, the Hajar Mountains come down close to the shore, and the diving is the best in the country.

Fujairah guide
Snoopy Island at Al Aqah is the standout snorkelling and dive site — a rock outcrop with reef, turtles and reliable visibility, reachable from the beach. Dibba, further north, is the launch point for dhow trips into Musandam-style fjords. Inland, Al Bidyah Mosque dates to the fifteenth century and is the oldest known mosque in the UAE, still in use and open to respectful visitors. Wadi Wurayah and the Friday Market road cut into the mountains, and Fujairah Fort anchors a small heritage village. The drive from Dubai crosses the Hajar range in about 90 minutes and is one of the best road trips in the country.
