All experiences in Umm Al Quwain
Umm Al Quwain is the least developed emirate and the most rewarding for anyone who likes water and space. A long lagoon, dense mangroves, a sandbar-strewn coast and steady wind make it the country's watersports corner.

Umm Al Quwain guide
The lagoon behind the old town is protected and shallow, which suits kayaking, kitesurfing and paddleboarding. Al Sinniyah Island, offshore, holds a large seabird colony and a recently excavated early Christian monastery site. On land, the old town keeps a fort museum and low-rise streets that have barely changed in decades. Dreamland Aqua Park sits on the northern highway, and the emirate's camel racetrack still runs winter meets. UAQ makes most sense as a full-day water trip from Dubai or an overnight base for kitesurfing.
